"You can be whatever you want to be"

"Barbie has always represented that a woman has choices,”
- Ruth Handler

Barbie doll's career aspirations know no bounds and we LOVE that about her. ⁣ Nursing was one of the earliest careers in which Barbie tried her plastic hand. Registered Nurse Barbie was released in 1961, followed by Nurse Julia in 1969 and then followed by a few inspirational others. Clearly, we LOVE nurses at PHI! Barbie’s influence teaches us to break free from gender stereotypes, embrace our creativity, and that you can dream of and be anything you want to be ( go ahead and pursue ambitious goals without fear ladies). Even the Barbie movie showed all of the ambitious careers that Barbie took on.

Our team had so much fun at the Barbie event at Telus Spark a few weeks ago. It was inspiring, educating and SO much fun. Our very own Lisa Iverson spoke at the event and reminded us to SET YOUR OWN BEAUTY STANDARDS. She spoke to the power of injectables done right and how PHI is here to walk your beauty journey along side of you. Each of our treatments are designed to empower you, as you dream big just like Barbie did.
