Biostimulators

Biostimuatlors are products that trigger your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin. They are compounds that are injected into the deep dermis layer of the skin. Unlike HA dermal fillers which simply inject volume, biostimulators work by stimulating new tissue growth, helping the skin to naturally produce its own volume. ​​​​​​​​

We use biostimulators such as Sculptra and Radiesse on our beautiful patients and are loving the results.

Sculptra is an FDA-approved product (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) that is injected into the deeper layers of the skin. Sculptra stimulates your own collagen production, therefore creating more volume and an improved skin texture. Sculptra can be used to correct volume loss and restore a natural more youthful appearance. Sculptra is used to treat shallow and deep wrinkles gradually to restore structure and produce a smooth healthy glow. One to four treatments, three weeks apart, are recommended to produce optimal results. 80% of Sculptra users are still happy with their results 25 MONTHS after their injections.

Radiesse is indicated and often preferred when treating patients who desire a more defined chiseled result. It is made of calcium hydroxylapatite gel microspheres and elements in the gel help to create a structure that mimics connective tissue. The product has a way higher viscosity than other softer dermal fillers. Radiesse can be used for deeper furrows or areas like the cheekbones, jawline, and chin. We even use it to restore volume and tighten the skin on the hands because as we age our hands become thinner with the appearance of bones, veins and tendons.
