Daxxify - Longer Lasting Botox?

The beauty industry never sleeps, so we are always looking for new ways to provide you with value. Learning all about new products and science is no different. Daxxify is the newest neuromodulator to enter the market, so we are excited to learn more.

Currently, Botox is the most used product on the market. In fact, it is used so much that it is often used as a blanket term for other neuromodulators with different names like Dysport or Xeomin. It smooths wrinkles and gives us that “PHI” well rested, glow. We love it, purchase A LOT of it and do A LOT of Botox treatments here at PHI! True Fact!
But, we also think that Daxxify is set to be a serious game changer!

What currently differentiates Daxxiify from it’s competitors is it’s longevity. Typically, Botox is done three to four times per year, but Daxxify will only be needed twice a year, which is what makes that neurotoxin so amazing. That being said, longer lasting doesn’t always equal better, and it’s always important to ask questions with any new treatment that appears on the market. Another key difference between Daxxify and Botox is the fact that Daxxify can be shipped and stored at room temperature, which could be game-changing for us injectors. Keep in mind a toxin that lasts 6 months will make having a good injector even more important and will certainly separate the experienced/good injectors from the less experienced ones. You really don’t want a bad neuromodulator treatment result that will not wear off for 6 months or more.

Daxxify was just approved in the USA in September and is currently NOT Health Canada approved…..yet. We do not know when that will be, however we will be watching and always at the forefront of the latest and greatest in the medical aesthetics industry.
